The Mission Project

What is The Mission Project, you may ask?

The Mission Project is an episodic documentary series on individuals that are making impact on the environmental and social states of communities around the world. Each episode, roughly 45mins in length, follows a mission team to display what their mission is about and how they are aiding the community around them and inspiring change for the better. The series will be told from an outside perspective in a narrative style so that as a viewer you can see these teams in action rather than just hear them talk about it, and to provide an unbiased view on how they are making a social impact on their community and the world.

Accompanying this series there will be a podcast giving updates on each episode so you can follow the progress of the different missions. The goal of The Mission Project is to create awareness and inspire people to act. These missions are often times struggling for funds to stay afloat, so along with each episode we will provide information on the organization to be viewed on the website and how you would be able to contribute to their cause. Our mission as The Mission Project doesn't stop there, a percentage of all profits that we receive from an episode goes back into The Mission Project fund so more episodes can be made and the rest goes directly back to the team we covered so we put into practice what we are trying to inspire.

The initial budget review looks like it will be around $600,000 for the 12 episodes that are planned for the series. This would cover the crew salaries, travel and equipment. The series looks like it would be a very intensive 9 months of production spending 1 1/2 - 2 weeks at each location. Because of the amount of work and planning that goes into each episode 2 producers would be required who would alternate between episodes. The crew would be given a few days break between each episodes, so the schedule would be very intense.


We are in the processes of launching our website and raising funds, updates will be given as things progress. Once we have funds and a list of missions to be part of the series we will begin the pre-production on the project.
